We are the company in charge of implementing the language plan in Barna and Knocknacarra.
We work with creches and schools, businesses, and the community to promote the use of the Irish language in Barna and Knocknacarra.
We organize Irish classes and events for all levels and we create opportunities for you to practise and use your cúpla focal.

Barna and Knocknacarra is one of 26 Language Planning Areas in Ireland.
According to the Gaeltacht Act 2012, a language plan was to be prepared in each of the Language Planning Areas in which a plan would be laid out to promote the use of the Irish language in that area. The language plan for Barna and Knocknacarra can be seen here.
